…the little details

It’s tricky being a visual artist these days— in the rapid-fire scrolling, attention economy.

Like the cartoon of Da Vinci presenting the Mona Lisa after years of solitary work juxtaposed with the contemporary artist trembling with fear, in the midst of an existential crisis, because they haven't posted to social media in a few days.

I suppose it’s fitting to embrace and exhibit some of the nueroses of one’s time.
